We have included addresses, phone numbers, and e-mails, on our "contact others" page. We will continue to add information to our site and do our best to include up to date contact information. We request that everybody take the time to write.
Recently, many of us received another certified letter, dated April 27, 2007, from Maser Consulting. This letter, consisting of two pages and a map, is a “notice to neighboring landowners” regarding a “freshwater wetlands and stream encroachment application” that will be submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Please click on the below link to access and read this letter:

In addition, they have applied for a hardship waiver (below)

I have researched this further and learned that the DEP, OR five members of the public, could request a public hearing. It is requested that you write the NJ DEP and ask that the application be rejected and the hardship waiver denied. A copy of a sample letter is listed below. Please feel free to read this letter. You may also print it and add your name, signature, and address.

This is apparently a second attempt as the first application (listed below) was rejected (R#0540) by the NJ DEP during pre-review. It is unknown what, if any, changes were made but the LURP will be asked to review it once again.

WE FURTHER SUGGEST THAT YOU SPEAK OUT AGAINST A GENERAL PERMIT APPLICATION, INDIVIDUAL TRANSITION AREA WAIVER, AND MAJOR STREAM ENCROACHMENT PERMIT, AND HARDSHIP WAIVER. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL COMMENTS SHOULD BE MAILED WITHIN 15 DAYS TO: Cathryn Schaffer, Project Manager Division of Land Use Regulation 501 East State Street P.O.
