The Borough of Paramus is going to be asked to consider an application to potentially allow a developer to build on a parcel of land off of Soldier Hill Road (block #7706, lot #1). We believe this to be environmentally sensitive land that consists of wetlands, tributaries, and flood hazard areas.
This could increase the chances of flooding in homes as well as displacing a number of wildlife animals. We believe that the intent was to preserve this land and feel that it should remain as open space and never be developed.
