Updates: Now that the weather has improved and the ground has started to thaw we are requesting that those who have received signs attempt to post them again. We understand that many are missing, damaged, or did not make it through the winter season. We would like to reintroduce the sign campaign as we felt it to be very effective. We have been funding a great deal of expenses out of pocket and would like to thank all those who have assisted to date. The signs and posts are costly, and while we feel uncomfortable asking for donations, please let us know if you can help. Although many in Paramus, and other towns, have aided, our “budget” is nearly depleted. We ask that you do your best to prominently display a “SAVE PARAMUS WETLANDS.COM” sign (private property only please). To find out more about ordering/displaying/replacing a sign give Ed a call at 201-967-7699 or feel free to send us an e-mail. Ed is maintaining receipts and will be glad to provide copies and/or answer any questions. We thank everybody again for their support and for requesting signs and/or signing a petition.
We hope that you feel strongly enough to help with the costs associated with this important effort. All of the expenses are currently being funded out of pocket and any assistance would be helpful and appreciated.
